purchase money has been or shall be paid; and
provided, that in all other respects the said proceed-
ings are legal and regular.

AN ACT supplementary to an act entitled, " An
act to incorporate the Superannuated Fund So-
ciety of the Maryland Annual Conference,"
passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty-nine, chapter two hundred and
eighty-five.

WHEREAS, It has been represented to this Gen-
eral Assembly that the maximum amount of prop-
erty which the Superannuated Fund Society of the
Maryland Annual Conference is authorized to hold
and possess, is insufficient to accomplish the object
for which said Society was incorporated; There-
fore,

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the amount of property which
the said society is authorized to hold, retain and
possess, by its said act of incorporation and the
supplement thereto, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-four, be and the same
is hereby increased to the sum of seventy-five
thousand dollars.
