AN ACT to alter and change the name of Alfred
Johnson to William Fell Johnson.
|

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That. the name of Alfred Johnson,
a native of the State of Maryland, and now a resi-
dent therein, be and the same is hereby altered
and changed to William Fell Johnson, and it
shall be lawful for the said Alfred Johnson at all
times hereafter to be called and known by, and
hold and use the name of, William Fell Johnson,
and by the name of William Fell Johnson to pur-
chase, sell, convey or devise, and to sue and be
sued in any court of law or equity.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

Windsor Turnpike Road Company, in Fred-
erick and Carroll counties.

of Maryland, That Henry Baker, Dr. Simms,
William Hobbs, Henry C. Gaither, Isaac C. Nico-
demus, Joel Roop, William Ecker, Daniel Engel,
A. H. Baker, and Joseph Stouffer, be and they are
hereby incorporated a body politic, for making a
