AN ACT to repeal an Act adding additional sec-
tions to the second Article of Public Local Laws
of Anne Arundel county, regulating the run-
ning at large of stock in and about the city of
Annapolis.

Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That an act passed January ses-
sion eighteen hundred and sixty-two, chapter
forty-four, entitled, an act to add additional sec-
tions to the second Article of the Public Local
Laws of Anne Arundel county, regulating the
running at large of stock in and about the city of
Annapolis, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect immediately on its passage.

CHAPTER 40.

AN ACT to alter and change the name of Zacha-
riah Origen Simmons, of Frederick county, to
that of John Simmons.

Name changed

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this act the name of Zachariah Origen Simmons,
of Frederick county, be and the same is hereby
changed to that of John Simmons.
