A SUPPLEMENT to an iactr, entitled an act to
incorporate the American Fire Insurance Com-
pany of Baltimore, passed February twenty-
third, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, chapter
eighty.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the American Fire Insur-
ance Company of Baltimore, be and they are
hereby authorized and empowered by instrument
under seal or otherwise, to make insurance upon
vessels, freight, goods, wares and merchandise,
and to make all and every insurance appertaining
to or connected with marine risks and risks of
transportation and navigation.

Sec, 2. And be it enacted, That the said Ameri-
can. Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, shall
have power to increase their, capital to an amount
not exceeding five hundred thousand dollars.

Sec. 3. Arid be it enacted, That this supplement
shall be in full force from the date of its acceptance
by the stockholders of the said American Fire
Insurance Company of Baltimore.

AN ACT, for the relief of James A. Deayer, an
indigent idiot of Harford county, by authorizing
the County Commissioners of said county to levy
a sum of money for his support.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland , That the County Commissioners
of Harford county, be and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered, in their discretion, at, the
time of their next annual levy for; said county,
