INDEMNITY
AGAINST
LOSS OR DAMAGE BY FIRE.
CHARTER PERPETUAL,
MUTUAL INSURANCE CO.
OF PHILADELPHIA,
Having organized according to the provisions of its Charter, is
now prepared to make Insurances against Loss by Fire, on
the mutual principle, combined with the security of a joint
stock capital. The advantage of this system is, that efficient
security is afforded at the lowest rates that the business can be
done for, as the whole profits (less an interest, not to exceed six
per cent, per annum on the capital) will be returned to the mem-
bers of the Institution, without their becoming responsible for
any of the engagements or liabilities of the company, further than
the premiums actually paid.
The great success which this system has met with wherever it
has been introduced, induces the Directors to request the attention
of the public to it, confident that it requires only to be under-
stood to be appreciated.
The act of incorporation, and any explanations in regard to it,
may be obtained by applying to
GEORGE G, MORTON, Agent,
No 23 Exchange Buildin§rs9 Gay st.
Who is authorized to effect Insurances against Loss or Damage by
Fire for said Company, on the principle stated in the above
advertisement
