This Arrow Root is well known to the customers of D, & J. VD. Stewart,
haying been imported by them (generally twice a year) for more than five
years.—The crop of the manufacturer was previously monopolized for the
London market, and is as far superior to the mixed lots constantly for sale in
our market from various manufacturers in Bermuda, as Henry's Magnesia is
to the ordinary calcined Magnesia.

I prefer to pay 20 per cent, more for this manufacture than I can get the
Bermuda Arrow Root for here of the importers, and continue to retail it at
