WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY OF BALTIMORE.

MEDICAL DEPARTMENT,

Prof. S. K. JENNINGS, M.D., Obstetrics and Diseases of Women and

Children.

Prof. J. C. S. MONKUR, M. D., Theory and Practice of Medicine.
Prof. E. Foreman, M. D., Chemistry.

Prof. H. WILLIS BAXLEY, M. D., Anatomy and Operative Surgery.
Prof. S. ANNAN, M. D., Institutes of Medicine, Materia Medica, and

Clinical Practice.

Prof. C. BELL GIBSON, M. D., Principles and Practice of Surgery.
MARSHALL P. HOWARD, M. D., Demonstrator of Anatomy, and

Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics.

The Medical Faculty holds an Annual Session of four months, begin-
ning on the last Monday in October, and terminating on the first of
March ensuing.

The spacious buildings erected for the special use of the Medical
Department are located in the eastern section of the city, on

BROADWAY, NEAR EAST BALTIMORE STREET,

They have been constructed solely for the purpose of instruction in the
science of Medicine, by lectures and demonstrations. With this view
a large wing has been appropriated to the uses of a Hospital, in which
are received private patients, and likewise, by an order from the
United States Treasury Department, one-half of the seamen of this
port who may require medical relief. Another portion of the building
has been expressly arranged for the accommodation of those Students
who may prefer to board and lodge in the College edifice, where com-
fortable private apartments will be furnished by the Steward of the
Institution, on reasonable terms.

For attendance on each Professor, . . . . $15

For Matriculation Fee, ....... 5

For Diploma, ..... ... 20

For Demonstrator's Fee, (optional,) .... 10
