relating to Public Schools in Somerset county, and enact the
following therefor.
16. An act to authorise the County Commissioners for
Frederick county to build a new Court House for Frederick
county, to borrow money on the credit of the county, to issue
Bonds for the payment of the same, and to levy taxes on the
assessable property oi the county to redeem said bonds at
maturity, and to pay the interest thereon.
17. An act to repeal the nineteenth section of the twenty-
ninth Article of the Code of Public General Laws, and the
proviso to the thirty-third section of the fifth Article of the
said Code relating to the stay of execution, and to extend the
time for enforcing the execution of judgments.
18. An act appropriating a sum of money for the payment
of the claims of John Murphy & Co., William S. Brown, A.
H. Hunt, Henshaw & Markey, Young Mens' Christian Asso-
ciation of Frederick city, D. W. Brooks & Bro., John
Rhodes, William F. Johnson, Andrew Boyd, George Rice,
James Whitehill & Co.; A, H. Hunt, Alpheus H. Shaffner,
Isabella Gas Co., Frederick Shroeder, Joseph Groff, William
H. Doub, Julius Krahe, Quynn & Ritter, Clark, Albaugh &
Co., George Hoskins, P. & A. T. Rice, Geo. L. Markell &
Co., William G. Cole, Jacob Riehl, Ralph Basil, Emanuel
Dadds, Loats & Eichelberger, and G. S. Groshon.
19. An act appropriating a sum of money for the payment
of the claims of John H. Keller, John A. Steiner and Lewis
H. Bennett, Trustees of Chippewa Tribe, No. 19, Improved
Order of Red Men, and Dr. Daniel Zacharias, President of
the Council of the Evangelical Reformed Church.
20. An act to amend the fourth Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws relating to the city of Baltimore, by adding
to the said Article the following section giving authority to
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to issue certificates
of debt to an amount not exceeding five hundred thousand
dollars, in addition to the amount authorized to be issued by
section nine hundred and thirty-nine of said fourth Article.
21. An act to authorize and empower John R. Miller, Chief
Bailiff of the town of Rockville, to collect the taxes imposed
by the Commissioners of said town.
22. Au act to pay Samuel Jackson a certain sum of money
for filling an order under a resolution of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland.
23. An act for the relief of David Knotts, one of the secur-
