TITLES OF THE LAWS.

1. An act to add to the fourth Article of the Code of Public
Local Laws, the following section empowering the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to raise and appropriate money
for the defense of said city.

2. An act to conform and ratify and ordinance of the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore entitled. "An Ordinance to
appropriate five hundred thousand Dollars, or so much there-
of as may be necessary for the defence of the city, against
any dangers that may arise out of the present crisis '' ap-
proved on the twentieth April, eighteen hundred and sixty-
one.

3. An act to amend the seventeenth, nineteenth twenty-
sixth, twenty-seventh and twenty-ninth sections of Article
fifty-four of the Code of Public General Laws relating to the
Land Office.

4. An act to amend the fourth Article of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws by repealing the one hundred and sixty-first
one hundred and sixty-second, one hundred and sixty-third
one hundred and sixty-fourth, one hundred and sixty-fifth
one hundred and sixty-sixth, one hundred and sixty-seventh
one hundred and sixty-eigth, one hundred and sixty-ninth
one hundred and seventieth, one hundred and seventy-second
and one hundred and seventy-third sections thereof, relating
to the Superior Court and the Court of Common Pleas of Bal-
timore city.
