This imitation was incorporated with full University powers by
the Legislature of Maryland in March, 1845. The Apparatus for
the illustration of chemistry, natural philosophy, astronomy, &c., is
ample, and of the best construction. A Mineralogical Cabinet is
also attached, containing some rare and very valuable specimens
in this department of natural science.
