Steam-Boats, Packets, & Stages.
Steam-Boats.
For Philadelphia, depart from Bowley's wharf daily,
at 5 o'clock in the evening, and during the summer
months at 5 in the morning; an elegant new boat, the
Independence is now added to the line (the Union)
this season. See advertisement.
Citizens' Canal Line, leaves the intersection of Pratt
and Light streets, DAILY (Sunday excepted) at six
o'clock in the morning for Philadelphia, crossing the
peninsula on a good road along the line of the Chesa-
peake and Delaware Canal. The line leaves Arch st.
wharf in Philadelphia, (daily) at 6 1/2 o'clock in the
morning for Baltimore. Office in Baltimore, No 3
Light st. wharf; in Philadelphia, on Perot's wharf. See
Advertisement.
For Norfolk and Richmond, leave Bowley's wharf on
Sunday and Wednesday at 3 o'clock, P. M. and arrive
on Tuesday and Friday mornings. The new boat Co-
lumbus, for freight and passengers, is now in the line.

For Annapolis, Chestertown and Centreville, the Ma-
ryland Steam Boat departs from Maryland wharf,
lower end of Frederick street dock, every Sunday
morning at 9 o'clock, to Annapolis. For Chestertown
and Centreville, leaves Baltimore on Monday, returns
same day. Tuesdays, Annapolis, Cambridge and Eas-
ton, returns next day at 7 o'clock.
For Fredericksburg1 and other places on the Rappahan-
noc river, the Steam Boat Patuxent, leaves the Mary-
land wharf every Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock,
and returns on Sunday.
For Alexandria, Washington and Georgetown, the
steam packet Fredericksburg, will leave Commerce
st. wharf, on the afternoon of every Saturday, at 5
