Function: The Association is co-operative
and educational; also it acts as a clearing
house for the handicapped by emphasizing
publicity, investigation and minor aid,
through a bureau of contact.

1. Responsible for opening the sight-saving class at School No. 127, Biddle Street near
Pennsylvania Avenue, April 22, 1930 with an enrollment of eighteen hoys and girls.

2. Instrumental in raising money for transportation to and from sight-saving class until
school board took over this responsibility. The money was then used as an eye glass
fund, etc.

It was through the cooperation of Dr. J. W. Wallin, former Director of Physical Educa-
tion. Dr. F. M. Wood, Parent-Teacher Associations, and public spirited citizens that the
above things were made possible.

All contributions must be sent to Dr. Wm. H. Watts. Treasurer,
515 N. Arlington Avenue

Dues: Service for humanity. Maintenance: Free-will offering
