Function The Association is co-operative
and educational, also it acts as a clearing
house for the handicapped by emphasising
publicity, investigation and minor aid,
through a bureau of contact

1 Responsible for opening the sight-saving class at School No 127, Biddle
Street near Pennsylvania Avenue, April 21, 1930 with an enrollment of
eighteen boys and girls

2 Instrumental in raising money for pupil transportation to and from
sight saving class until school board took over this responsibility The
money was then used as an eye glass fund, etc

It was through the cooperation of Dr J W Wallin, former Director of
Physical Education, Dr F M Wood, Parent-Teacher Associations, and
public spirited citizens that the above things were made possible

All contributions must be sent to Dr. Wm H Watts, Treasurer,
515 7 N Arlington Avenue.
