WARNER T. McGUINN

Attorney and

Councilman from the Fourth

Councilmanic District of

Baltimore

Mr. McGuinn is a Virginian by birth,
a graduate of Lincoln University, How-
ard University Law School and Yale.
At the latter school he won the Town-
send Prize of $100 for the best written
oration.

He has practiced law in Kansas City
Kan., coming to Baltimore in 1893 when
he became a member of the law firm of
Cummings and McGuinn. Mr. McGuinn
is a Republican and has been closely al-
lied in leadership with that party since
his coming here. He was for a number of
years a director of the National Associa-
tion for the Adyancement of Colored
People.
