THE CAREY

CAREY STREET, AT PRESSTMAN

MATINEE: DAILY 2-6 AND 7-11.25

AN AMUSEMENT HOUSE WHICH IS THE EMBODIMENT OF COURTESY
A PLEASURE TO VISIT IT

The Carey Theater is one of the most commodious and well-appointed amuse-
ment houses for colored people in the city. Every possible courtesy is extended by
the management to patrons. An entire corps of colored attendants is employed
at this theater. Modern ventilating apparatus has been recently installed for
the special purpose of having a cool place in summer. Only the very highest
grade of pictures is used. The very best of order is maintained. With gratitude
to those who are now our patrons and with earnest solicitude of the patronage
of those who have not yet visited us, I am,

Very truly yours,
(Advertisement) JAMES C. CREMEN.
