REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR CONGRESS FROM THE
FOURTH DISTRICT.

This is the man that did more for Morgan College than any other
man in the last Legislature. A bill was introduced by a Democrat of
Baltimore County to compel Morgan College to move from its pres-
ent place. Mr. J. Frank Fox, a Republican member of the last Leg-
islature was Chairman of the Corporation Committee, and the mat-
ter was referred to his Committee, and the matter was handled to
the satisfaction of the College Heads. Dr. Spencer can vouch for
this, as Dr. Spencer was in constant touch with Mr. Fox during the
session. The Bill never passed the House, and too much credit can-
not be given Mr. Fox for his efforts in the matter.

Mr. Fox has been a life-long Republican, and has been a member
of the Maryland Legislature for two terms, and is now a Candidate
for Congress from the Fourth District, and we members of the Col-
ored race should get behind Mr. Fox and do all we can for his
interest.
