DEAR SIR:—

Receipt of your letter of December 3rd, is acknowledged,
advising me that you have transmitted, under separate cover,
a copy of "The First Colored Professional, Clerical, Skilled
and Business Directory of Baltimore City."

Dr. Spencer, President of Morgan College, was quite right
in saying that I would be most interested in the publication.
It will be examined with, great pleasure, and I have no doubt
that it is a compilation of much merit and one to be highly
commended.

sion, but you bring them in closer touch with one another.
