The President and direct rs of this Institution meet daily for the purpose
of making Insurance on Mills, Manufactories, Houses, Barns and
Contents, Hay and Grain in Stacks, Stores, and Goods contained
therein, and all property subject to Loss or Damage by Fire, whether
situated in Town or Country.
Applications must specify the Amount to be Insured, and the Time
for which it is waited; of what materials the buildings are constructed
and covered, and how occupied; as also of those adjacent to the property
on which Insurance is asked. The same will be stated of buildings in
which goods are contained, where Insurance is desired on said goods.
All applications must be accompanied by a ground plan of the prem-
ises, shewing the relative situation and distance of such houses, hay
stacks, barns, stables, or piles of lumber, as may be near.
Applicalions by mail, will receive immediate attention.
