770 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

1908, of Article 10 of the Code of .Public Local Laws, title
"Dorchester County," sub-title "Birds and Game," and to
add an additional section, to be known as Section 35o, to im-
mediately follow Section 35c.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 35, 35A and 36, as enacted by the January
Session, 1906, and Sections 35e and 35c, as enacted by the Jan-
uary Session, 1908, of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Birds and Game,"
be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, and that an additional section, to be known as
Section 35D, be added thereto, to immediately follow Section
35c, and to read as follows:

SEC. 35. No person shall shoot or in any manner catch, kill
or have in their possession any quail, patridges, or rabbits
during closed season of each year, or any woodcock between
the first day of January and the first day of July next ensu-
ing, or any dove between the first day of January and the first
day of August ensuing, or any squirrel between the first day
of December and the first day of September the next ensuing
year, or any summer or wood duck between the first day of
January and the first day next ensuing.

SEC. 35A. No person shall at any time sell or offer for sale
to any merchant, broker, commission merchant or huckster,
for the purpose of shipping ont of said county or ship out of
said county, or to receive for shipment out of said county, any
quail, partridges, woodcock, dove, squirrel or rabbit; but any
person traveling or going out of said county may carry with
him or her as a part of their personal baggage not more than
twelve quail or partridges, six rabbits, six woodcock, six squir-
rel and six doves at any one time; provided, that said game
when so carried out of said county shall be carried in such a
manner so as to disclose to the public the kind and quality of
game so carried out; but in no event shall it be lawful to carry
said game in any quantity or quantities out of said county for
the purpose of sale; but nothing contained herein shall be con-
strued or held to prevent or forbid any person killing any such
birds or game from selling same to any person in this county
for their private use, or for the purpose of resale within the
county.

SEC. 35B. No person shall at any time in said county shoot
at or kill any quail, partridge, woodcock or any kind of water
fowl with any other kind of firearm or gun than such as is ha-
bitually raised at arms length to the shoulder.

SEC. 35c. No person shall at any time trap, net or ensnare
any quail, partridge, woodcock or water fowl of any kind, or
