Constable of Cecil county to assist the said association in en-
forcing the provisions of this Act and in issuing the licenses
thereunder, if requested by said association so to do, and their
official bond shall stand for the faithful performance of their
duty; and all licenses issued under the provisions of this Act
shall expire the first day of May next ensuing the date thereof.

38c. It shall not be lawful for any person to hunt, chase,
shoot, trap, kill, or in any manner take or destroy, or to have
in his or her possession, any of the birds or game mentioned in
this Act, when the snow is on the ground in sufficient quanti-
ties so that the tracks of the same may be seen, and the season
during which the hunting, chasing, shooting, trapping or kill-
ing of the birds or game mentioned in this Act is permitted, is
by this section suspended during the period in which the snow
is on the ground as aforesaid.

38o. If any person shall violate any of the provisions of
this Act he shall be deemed guilty of a common nuisance, and,
upon conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace of the
State of Maryland in and for Cecil county, he or she shall be
fined not less than five dollars, nor more than twenty-five dol-
lars and costs in each and every case, and for each and every
offense, and for failure to pay said fines and costs shall be
committed to the county jail for a period not exceeding thirty
days; and if the violation be the failure to take out a license,
as provided in Section 38A of this Act, in addition to the fine
imposed, he or she shall be required to take out a license as
required in the said section; and out of the fines collected from
violators of the provisions of this Act the informer shall re-
ceive one-half of the same; provided, however, that he or she
shall not receive more than ten dollars from the fines imposed
and recovered from any person or persons for several violations
in any one day, and the balance of said fines shall be paid to
the Cecil County Game Protective Association for the purposes
of restocking of said game.

38E. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons to
hunt, chase, shoot, shoot at, trap, kill, or in any way or man-
ner take or destroy any of the birds or game mentioned in this
Act on any election day held in the month of November of any
year.

38F. Tt shall be the duty of the Circuit Court for Cecil
County in charging the grand jury at the regular sessions of
the said Court to call its attention to this Act, and the duty of
the Constables of Cecil county in strictly enforcing the same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby re-
