588 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
1908, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Sections 117 to 132, inclusive, of Article 3, Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Baltimore County,' sub-
title 'Health and Sanitary Officers,'" as enacted by Chapter
515 of the Acts of 1902, and to add ten new sections to said
Article under the same title and subtitle, to follow Section
132, and to be known respectively as Sections 132A, 132B, 132c,
132D, 132E, 132F, 132G, 132H, 132I and 132K, so as to read as
follows:

120. Such County Health Officer shall maintain at Towson
an office, where shall be kept all the records and data pertain-
ing to his duties under this subtitle. He shall appoint a
competent clerk or assistant, and such, office shall be kept open
from 9 o'clock A. M. to 4 o'clock P. M. daily, except Sunday.
Such County Health Officer shall give to his duties under the
subtitle so much of his time as may be necessary for the proper
performance of the same. He shall meet with and report to
the County Commissioners weekly, or at such other time the
County Commissioners shall designate, and shall furnish to
said County Commisioners, at such time as they require, an
annual statement in detail of the receipts and disbursements
of his office. He shall receive a salary of one thousand dollars
per annum, payable monthly, out of which sum he shall pay
his own traveling expenses, and the County Commissioners
shall, on his requisition, pay his reasonable expenses, and the
salary of his clerk or assistant, to the extent of but not ex-
ceeding nine hundred dollars per annum, and other expenses
to the extent of but not exceeding two hundred dollars per
annum.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act take effect May 1,
1910.

CHAPTER 527.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
4 to 17, inclusive, of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Baltimore County," as enacted by Chapter 495
of the Acts of 1908, to add four sections thereto, to be known
as Sections 17A, 17B, 17C and 17D, and Chapter 681 of Acts
of General Assembly of Maryland, passed at Session of 1908,
is also repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 4 to 17 of Article 3 of the Code of Public
