SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That whenever any deposits shall
be made by a minor or married woman, such deposits shall be
received or held and paid out on precisely the same terms and
conditions as those of adult male or adult female depositors,
and the check, receipt or acquittance of such minor or mar-
ried woman shall be valid and binding on them, any law of
this State to the contrary notwithstanding.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said People's Bank of
Chestertown, Maryland, is authorized to receive deposits of
money, checks, commercial paper from any individual or ad-
ministrator, committee, guardian, receiver, assignee, trustee
or any public officer of Kent County or elsewhere, or from any
person or persons acting for others having the custody of any
moneys belonging to themselves or others; provided, however,
that said company- shall be subject to the provisions of Article
11 of the Public General Laws of this State, title, "Banks,"
and any amendments thereof, and the liability of the stock-
holders thereof shall at all times be determined by the laws of
the State in force at the time the said liabilities may attach;
and further provided, that said company shall not be subject to
Article 3, Sections 25 of said Article 11.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of. its passage.

CHAPTER 622.
AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented liquor
within two miles in every direction from White School No. 2,
in the Twelfth Election District of Prince George's County,
Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for the Board of Liquor
License Commissioners of Prince George's County to issue a
license to any person or persons, or corporation, to sell spiritu-
ous or fermented liquors within a radius of two miles in every
direction from Public School No. 2 for white children, in the
Twelfth Election District of Prince George's County, Mary-
land.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
