SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and with the expiration of the term of office of the per-
sons at present constituting "The Trustees of the Poor of Wor-
cester County."

CHAPTER 387.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 260 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, passed at its January Session, 1900, en-
titled "An Act to authorize and empower the trustees of the
poor of Worcester County to sell and convey certain real es-
tate in said county, called Rochester and Purnell's Outlet,
and upon which is now located the county almshouse."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 260 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its January Session, 1900, entitled "An
Act to authorize and empower the trustees of the poor of Wor-
cester County to sell and convey certain real estate in said
county, called Rochester and Purnell's Outlet, and upon which
is now located the county almshouse," be and the same is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 397.
AN ACT to enable the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City
to borrow upon the faith and credit of said town a sum not
exceeding thirty thousand dollars and to issue and sell cou-
pon bonds therefor to be designated "Ocean City Refunding
and Improvement Bonds," to provide bonds for the purpose
of retiring the bonds heretofore issued by the said Mayor and
City Council under the provisions of Chapter 528 of the Acts
of 1898, and Chapter 561 of the Acts of 1904, and further, to
provide a fund to be used in the liquidation of certain debts
and liabilities heretofore created by said Mayor and City
Council for municipal purposes, and for the still further pur-
pose of providing funds for the improvement, repair, con-
struction and maintenance of the public streets, ways and
property of said town, and for such other public improve-
ments as may be in the judgment of said Mayor and City
Council for the general public welfare, and to provide for the
