CHAPTER 489.
AN ACT to provide for the preparation of a Code of Public
Local Laws of Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Dorchester County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to employ
some member of the Dorchester County bar to prepare a Code
of the Public Local Laws of Dorchester County, including the
Acts passed at this session, and to publish the said Code in
pamphlet form, or in bound volumes, as they may dceide, and
to sell copies of said Code at a fair price, to be fixed by them;
provided, that the entire cost of codifying and printing said
laws shall not exceed the sum of seven hundred dollars; pro-
vided that said Code shall first have been approved by a Com-
mittee of members of the Bar of Dorchester County, which
Committee shall be appointed by the Judges of the First Ju-
dicial Circuit of Maryland. The County Commissioners shall
pay the author of said Code immediately after the work has
been approved as herein provided.

CHAPTER 490.
AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County, and the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more to authorize a Street Railway Company to construct
and maintain a bridge for its use over Curtis Creek, and to
authorize the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel Coun-
ty, and the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to rebuild
the bridge now constructed over Curtis Creek with sufficient
strength to carry street railway cars, or to relocate said
bridge on Curtis Creek and to build it for such use.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That upon the application by petition of a street railway
company, the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel Countv
is hereby authorized to grant to said railway company, on such
terms as said County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County
may impose, the right and power to construct and maintain a
bridge over Curtis Creek at any point agreed upon for the use
of said railway company; provided, however, that if at the
date of the filing of said petition an act has been passed by the
