indebtedness of said School Board, and the said report shall
be immediately printed by the County Commissioners, and
sufficient copies thereof placed in the office of the County
Treasurer that any taxpayer may procure one.

SE'C. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Board of
County Commissioners for Wicomico County shall on or be-
fore the first day of July, nineteen hundred and eighteen, levy
upon all of the taxable property of Wicomico County and upon
all property subject to taxation therein a sum of money
sufficient to defray the cost of the work of auditing the books
as aforesaid, and for the printing of the report of the said
auditors.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public safety, and being passed upon
a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the mem-
bers elected to each of the two houses of the General As-
sembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 486.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
29-A of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Elections," subtitle "Registrations," as said section was-
amended by Chapter 546 of the Acts of 1916, by adding:
Wicomico, Talbot, Dorchester, Calvert, Kent, Washington,
Allegany and Somerset Counties to the list of Counties
where an alternative method of making the declaration of
intent to become a citizen of Maryland is provided.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 29-A of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, title "Elections," sub-title "Registrations," as
said section was amended by Chapter 546 of the Acts of 1916,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:

29-A. Declarations of Intentions mentioned in the preced-
ing section may in Baltimore City and in Anne Arun-
del, Charles, Queen Anne's, Harford, Montgomery, Gar-
rett, Frederick, Carroll, Cecil, Caroline, Wicomico, Tal-
