as shall not be paid by the proceeds of the sale of the prop-
erty.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That every person who
shall at any garage or other place at which Automobiles, Trucks
or other motor vehicles are kept at livery, on storage, Or for on
or about which labor, repairs, electric current, sundries, oils
or gasoline are furnished, obtain or procure any of the same,
and shall fraudulently fail to pay for such; and every person
who, after obtaining credit or accommodations at any garage or
other place at which automobiles, trucks or other motor vehicles
are kept at livery, on storage, or for on about which labor,
repairs, electric current, sundries, oils or gasoline are fur-
nished, shall fraudulently take or remove such automobile,
truck or other motor vehicle therefrom without discharging the
debt as aforesaid incurred, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by fine of not
more than One Hundred Dollars or by imprisonment in jail
for a term of not more than six months, or by both such fine
and imprisonment in the discretion of the court. And in de-
termination of any question arising under this section the fact
that such removal was without the knowledge or consent of the
proprietor or manager of such garage or other place at which
automobiles, trucks or other motor vehicles are kept at livery,
on storage or for, on or about which labor, repairs, electric
current, sundries, oils or gasoline are furnished, shall be treated
as presumptive evidence that such removal was fraudulent.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1918.

CHAPTER 466.

AN ACT to revise the corporation laws of the State of Mary-
land.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 88A of Article 23 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland be and the same is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted with amendments so as to read as follows:

88A. Every corporation of this State, having capital stock,
except railroad corporations authorized to construct, maintain
or operate railroads in this State, and building or homestead
