Hook District on and after June 1, 1916, and the said Harry
G. Traver was thereby and thereafter deprived of any benefit
of said license and was thereby prevented from selling either
spirituous or fermentd liquor or lager beer.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proportionate parts of said license from
the first day of June, 1916, to the first day of May, 1917, be
refunded to the said Harry G. Traver, and the County Com-
missioners of Washington County are hereby authorized and
directed to refund and pay to the said Harry G. Traver the
sum of one hundred and seventy-one dollars and eighty-seven
cents ($171.87), being the proportionate part from June 1,
1916, to May 1, 1917, of three-fourths of the money paid by
the said Harry G. Traver for the said license to sell spirituous
and fermented liquor and lager beer received by the said County
Commissioners of Washington County, and that upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller the Treasurer of Maryland is hereby
authorized and directed to refund and pay to the said Harry
G. Traver the sum of fifty-seven dollars and twenty-nine cents
($57.29), being the proportionate part from June 1, 1916, to
May 1, 1917, of one-fourth of the money paid by the said
Harry G. Traver for the said license to sell spirituous and
fermented liquors and lager beer received by the Treasurer
of Maryland for the purpose above provided.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1918.
