capitalization of any franchise to be a corporation or to author-
ize the capitalization of any franchise or the right to own,
operate or enjoy any franchise whatsoever in excess of the
amount (exclusive of any tax or annual charge) actually paid
to the State or any political subdivision thereof as the con-
sideration for the grants of such franchise or right. Nor shall
the capital stock of a corporation formed by the merger or con-
solidation of two or more other corporations exceed the sum
of the capital stock of the corporations so consolidated, at par
value thereof, or such sum and any additional sum actually
paid in cash, nor shall any contract for consolidation or lease
be capitalized in the stock of any corporation whatever, nor
shall any corporation hereafter issue any bonds against a lien
upon any contract for consolidation or merger.

CHAPTER 409.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 20
of Article 99 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title ''Wild Fowl, Birds and Game," as amended by
Chapter 143 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1916.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 20 of Article 99 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Wild Fowl, Birds and
Game," as amended by Chapter 143 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1916, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows:
Section 20. No person shall shoot, trap, catch or kill, or
gun or hunt for any partridge or quail, English or Mongolian
pheasant, American pheasant, dark neck Bohemian pheasant,
pheasant or ruffled grouse, rabbit, wild turkey, woodcock or
deer within the State of Maryland between the twenty-fourth
day of December and the tenth day of November in any year,
exclusive of both dates; nor shall any person shoot, kill or
hunt for any squirrel between the twenty-fourth day of De-
cember and the twenty-fifth day of August, or between the first
day of October and the tenth day of November in any year,
both dates exclusive. This Act, so far as it applies to shooting,
killing and hunting squirrels, shall not apply to Anne Arun-
