CHAPTER 407.
AN ACT authorizing the Court of Appeals of Maryland to
designate from time to time the binding for its Reports, and
providing for a change in the price thereof in case the Court
changes the character of the binding during the term of any
existing contract.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That on and after the passage of this Act the Reports of
the decisions of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, published
in accordance with the provisions of Article 80 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, shall be bound in such dur-
able and appropriate binding as the Court of Appeals may
from time to time direct; provided that the State reporter and
Codifier, with the approval of the Court of Appeals, may enter
into an additional contract with any publisher now holding a
contract for the publication of such Reports, for the purpose of
adjusting the price of the volumes, in accordance with any
order of the Court of Appeals changing the binding; and pro-
vided that any contract made subsequent to the passage of this
Act shall contain a provision that the binding on the Maryland
Reports shall be such durable and appropriate binding as the
Court of Appeals may from time to time direct.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after June 1, 1918.

CHAPTER 408.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 27
and 34 of Chapter 180 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of the year 1910, entitled "An Act to create
and establish a Public Service Commission, and prescribing
its powers and duties, and to provide for the regulation ana
control of Public Service Corporations and Public Utilities,
and making appropriations therefor."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 27 and 34 of Chapter i80 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of the year 1910, entitled
"An Act to create and establish a Public Service Commission,
and prescribing its powers and duties and to provide for the
