said highway shall be and become a part of the State Highway
System of the State of Maryland as now provided by law
for the taking over State-Aid Highways by the State Roads
Commission when the same shall have been put in good re-
pair.

CHAPTER 386.
AN ACT authorizing and empowering the County Commis-
sioners of Montgomery County t6 put in good repair the
highway from Rockville to Travilah in Montgomery County;
to use funds, in whole or in part for said construction, that
may, be allotted to Montgomery County for road purposes
by the State Roads Commission under any general law of
the State of Maryland, or to issue bonds in an amount not
to exceed Forty Thousand ($40,000) Dollars for said pur-
pose; providing, if the County Commissioners of Montgom-
ery County determine to issue said bonds for said purpose,
for the collection and levying of taxes on the assessable
property of Montgomery County, the Fourth Election Dis-,
trict and on the Sixth Election District, of said county, for
the payment of said bonds and interest coupons thereon;
providing that when said highway shall be put in good re-
pair, and the same be satisfactory to the State Roads Com-
mission, then said highway shall be and become a part of
the State Highway system of the State of Maryland as now
provided by law for taking over State-Aid Highways by the
State Roads Commission when the same shall have been put
in good repair.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to put in
good repair the highway from Rockville to Travilah in said
Montgomery County; and to use funds, in whole, or in part,
for said construction, and in such amount as they may deem
necessary, that may be allotted to Montgomery County for
road purposes by the said State Roads Commission under any
general law of the State of Maryland.
SECJ 2. And be it further enacted, That if the said County
Commissioners of Montgomery County shall not deem it wise,
