able the said Commissioners to collect money necessary for the
punctual redemption and payment of said bonds.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said bonds shall be
dated on the first day of July in the year of their issuance
or the said bonds, in the discretion of the said Commissioners
of Cambridge, may all be issued at one time, or in four in-
stallments according to the order of their maturity as above set
forth, but whether sold all at one time, or in installments as
aforesaid, the said Commissioners of Cambridge shall adver-
tise the said sale in two newspapers published in Dorchester
County, Maryland, and also in a newspaper published in
Baltimore City, if they deem, such advertisement advisable,
giving reasonable notice of the time of such sale and inviting
sealed proposals for the purchase of said bonds, so to be issued,
with the privilege to the said Commissioners of Cambridge of
rejecting any and all bids. The said bonds shall be exempt
from county and municipal taxation.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the proceeds arising from
the sale of the said bonds shall be paid over to the Commis-
sioners of Cambridge, Maryland, to be expended by said Com-
missioners, in the exercise of their best judgment and discre-
tion, for the purpose of purchasing fire-fighting apparatus for
the said town of Cambridge, Maryland.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from June 1st, 1918.

CHAPTER 365.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
118-B, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester
County," sub-title "County Commissioners, County Treas-
urer and Collectors," as enacted by Chapter 834 of the Acts
of 1914.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 118-B of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Dorchester County," sub-title "County Commissioners,
County Treasurer and Collectors," as enacted by Chapter 834
of the Acts of 1914, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments.
