SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That the said Mayor and
Commissioners of Barton shall appoint every year at least ten
(10) days before the day of election, three (3) judges to hold
election. They shall keep the polls open from 5 o'clock to 8
o'clock in the evening and shall conduct the said elections in the
same general manner that State and County elections are now
conducted, as far as may be consistent with the provisions of
this Act, and as far as may be practicable, and the said judges
of election shall promptly make returns under their hands and
seals to the Clerk of said town of Barton who shall promptly
record the same in the minute book of said town and the said
Mayor and Commissioners shall give at least ten (10) days'
notice of all elections to be held in said town under authority
of this Act, by posting handbills in at least five (5) conspic-
uous places in the said town.
