show will be traveled by such motor vehicle over State,
State Aid, improved County Roads, and Streets and Roads of
any incorporated towns and cities in the State of Maryland
during the year for which said certificate is issued.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after July 1, 1918, provided that all permits,
registration cards and markers issued and paid for prior to
July 1, 1918, shall be good until December 31, 1918.

CHAPTER 305.

AN ACT to provide for the issuance of bonds by the President
and Commissioners of the Town of Elkton, in Cecil County,
Maryland, for the purpose of establishing water works for
the Town of Elkton either by the purchase or condemnation
of the property, plants, rights and franchise necessary there-
for, and for operating the same by the said President and
Commissioners of the Town of Elkton, and to create an
Auxiliary Board to act in conjunction with the said President
and Commissioners of the Town of Elkton in connection with
the issuance of said bonds and the construction and operation
of said water works.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the President and Commissioners of the Town of
Elkton, in conjunction with the Auxiliary Board hereinafter
named, or a majority of them, be and they are hereby author-
ized, as hereinafter provided, to issue bonds not exceeding in
amount the sum of Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000), said
bonds to be known as "Water Bonds.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That' William D. Bratton, Frank
P. Price, Harry W. Pippin and William C. Feehly together
with William H. Mackall and Alfred Davis, who are hereby
added to said Auxiliary Board after their present terms of office
as President and Commissioners shall expire, are hereby con-
stituted an Auxiliary Board to act with the President and Com-
missioners of the said Town of Elkton in the issuance of said
bonds and the establishment and operation of said water works,
and the President and Commissioners of the Town of Elkton
together with the said Auxiliary Board shall decide all ques-
