or contractors are entitled to in the performance of the con-
tract, and shall pay upon the warrant of said building commit-
tee the cost of the plans and specifications of the work proposed
to be done, the salary or commission of the supervising archi-
tect, and such other expenses as said building committee may
properly have incurred in the discharge of its duty, and no
part of said proceeds of sale of said bonds shall be paid out by
by said school treasurer except on the warrant of said building
committee.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 302.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 3
of the Charter of Takoma Park, in Prince George's and
Montgomery Counties, Maryland, as the said charter was
enacted by Chapter 480 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland at its session of 1890, and amended by Chapter
558 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1894, by Chap-
ter 310 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1896, by
Chapter 117 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1900,
by Chapter 100 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1906, by Chapter 526 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1910, by Chapter 750 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of 1912, and by Chapter 744 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1914.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 3 of Chapter 480 of the Acts of the Gen-
-eral Assembly of 1890, entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Town of Takoma Park, Montgomery and Prince George's
Counties, as amended by Chapter 558 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of 1894, by Chapter 310 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1896, by Chapter 117 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1900, by Chapter 100 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1906, by Chapter 626 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1910, by Chapter 750 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1912, and by Chapter 744 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1914," be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
