of County Commissioners for Allegany County, said addi-
tional section to be designated as Section 3.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 169 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1904, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments Chapter 25 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1900, entitled 'Allegany County, ' sub-
title, 'County Commissioners, ' and fixing the salary of the
Clerk to the County Commissioners, " be and the same is here-
by amended by adding an additional section thereto, to be
designated as Section 3, and to read as follows:
Section 3. In addition to the salary provided above by Sec-
tion 2 (of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1904), the Clerk to the
Board of County Commissioners for Allegany County shall be
entitled to receive such extra compensation or salary as may be
determined by the Board of County Commissioners, not to
exceed, however, the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600. 00)
per annum, in addition to the salary provided by Section 2 (of
Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1904), if the said Board of County
Commissioners for Allegany County shall deem it necessary
and proper to pay the said Clerk any extra salary or compen-
sation, the amount of said extra compensation or salary, as
above mentioned, and the time and method of its payment to
be determined by the said Board of County Commissioners
for Allegany County.

CHAPTER 44.
AN ACT to authorize the Commissioners of Aberdeen to issue
bonds to pay for improvements hereafter to be made in the
Town of Aberdeen, Maryland, at the direction of said Com-
missioners of Aberdeen with a referendum to the voters of
said town, attached thereto.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Commissioners of Aberdeen, be and they are
hereby authorized in their discretion, the assent of a majority
of the legal voters of said town, voting at any election held as
hereinafter provided, having been first had and obtained to
borrow money upon the faith and credit of the town and to
issue bonds therefor, not to exceed in amount Five Thousand
