CHAPTER 251.
AN ACT to repeal Section 8 of Chapter 219 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, of 1906, relating to wild fowl
and game and birds and animals in Somerset County, and to
re-enact the same to read as follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 8 of Chapter 219 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, of 1906, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed, and re-enacted to read as follows:
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That it shall be unlawful for any
person, at any time, to shoot or kill by shooting any muskrat
within the limits of Somerset County, or have in his possession
the hide of any muskrat so killed, and any muskrat hide perfor-
ated with small holes, having the appearance of shot or bullet
holes, shall be prima facie evidence that it was from, a muskrat
so killed; and every person violating this section shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a Justice
of the Peace of Somerset County, or in the Circuit Court of said
County, shall pay a fine of not less than $10.00 nor more than
$100.00 for every offense, one-half of said fine to go to the in-
former.

CHAPTER 252.
AN ACT to provide additional compensation for teachers regu-
larly employed in the public schools of this State during the
scholastic year 1917-1918, in the amounts and subject to the
conditions specified in this Act.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That each teacher regularly employed in the public
schools of this State for white children, during the 1917-1918
scholastic year, for not less than nine months, and in service at
