son or persons from selling or buying crops or parts of un-
stripped crops of tobacco hanging in barns nor from packing,
shipping and selling tobacco in hogsheads, as has been the cus-
tom.

CHAPTER 195.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 3
and 5 of Chapter 814 of the Acts of General Assembly of
Maryland of 1912, relating to moving picture machine oper-
ators in the City of Baltemore. Said Section 3 being Section
691 C of the Revised Charter of Baltimore City in 1915, and
said Section 5 being Section 691 E of said Revised Charter,
this amendment relating to the membership of the Board of
examining moving picture machine operators and to the
granting of licenses to operating moving picture machines.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 3 and 5 of Chapter 814 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1912 relating to moving pic-
ture machine operators in the City of Baltimore, said Section 3
being Section 691 C of the Revised Charter of Baltimore City
in 1915, and said Section 5 being Section 691 E of the said Re-
vised Charter, be and the same are hereby respectively repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, go as to read as follows:
691 C. That the Governor shall biennially appoint in and
for Baltimore City three persons: one from the Board of Fire
Underwriters' Association, one licensed moving picture mar
chine operator, a member of the Moving Picture Operators'
Union, one exhibitor duly licensed to operate motion pic-
ture machines; all of whom have had not less than three
years' experience at the business and who have resided in Balti-
more City, State of Maryland, for a period of not less than two
years next preceding their appointment, who shall be known as
the Board of Examining Moving Picture Machine Operators.
The parties so appointed shall make oath before a Justice of
the Peace that they will faithfully perform the duties of their
office, and shall give bond in the sum of five hundred dollars, to
be approved by the Judge of the Superior Court of Baltimore
City.
