for every share of stock held by him; but no person shall be
eligible as director who is not a stockholder to the amount of
ten (10) shares of stock.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1918.

CHAPTER 132.
AN ACT to repeal. Section 88, of Article 5, of the Code
(Bagby's) of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Ap-
peals and Errors, " sub-title "Appeals from Justices of the
Peace, '' and to reenact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 88 of Article 5, of the Code (Bagby's) of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Appeals and Errors, "
sub-title "Appeals from Justices of the Peace, " be and the
same is hereby repealed and reenacted so as to read as follows:
88. On the party signifying his intention to appeal, it shall
be the duty of the Justice of the Peace to enter the appeal, with
the date thereof, upon his docket, and to transmit the papers
in the cause, together with a transcript of the docket entries
under his hand and seal, to the clerk of the circuit court, or
the clerk of the Baltimore city court, and said transcript of the
docket entries shall be prima facie proof of the proceedings had
and the judgment entered in said cause.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of June, 1918.

AN ACT to amend Section 412 of the Revised Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County, title "Police and Police
Stations. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 412 of the Revised Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County, title "Police and Police Stations, "
be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
