CHAPTER 11.
AN ACT making appropriations for the payment of the ex-
penses of General Assembly of Maryland for the extra-
ordinary session of nineteen hundred and seventeen.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20, -
000. 00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the
same is hereby appropriated for the payment of the officers,
employes and members of the General Assembly of Maryland
of the extraordinary session of nineteen hundred and seven-
teen, including postage, stationery, mileage and miscellaneous
expenses; for printing for the General Assembly of the said
session the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2, -
500. 00), or so much, thereof as may be necessary, be and the
same is hereby appropriated; for binding the laws, journals
and documents of the said session of the General Assembly the
sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($1, 250), or so
much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby ap-
propriated; for indexing the journals and documents of the
Senate and House of Delegates the sum of Two Hundred Dol-
lars ($200. 00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and
the same is hereby appropriated; for indexing the laws the sum
of Fifty Dollars ($50. 00), or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary, be and the same is hereby appropriated; to the Secretary
of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates
for copying and arranging for publication the laws of said ses-
sion, the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) each, be and
the same is hereby appropriated; to the Clerk of the Court of
Appeals for recording the laws of said session of the General
Assembly, the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50. 00), or so much there-
of as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated;
for copying and indexing the laws of said session, as provided
by Section 8 of Article 78 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00), or so much there-
of as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Treasurer of
the State shall, on the warrant of the Comptroller, disburse
the said sums of money herein appropriated for the objects and
