No. 1. An Act to encourage and assist in the establishment of a

military camp, by the Government of the United States, within

the State of Maryland; providing, in the event such a camp

is established, for the clearing of the site thereof, at the

expense of the State; providing for the acquisition by gift, de-

vise, bequest, purchase, lease or in any other way, or by con-

demnation, of property necessary or desirable for such camp

site, or the purposes thereof; providing for the use and occu-

pation of such camp site by the United States Government with-

out charge or rental ; prohibiting the selling, giving away or

otherwise disposing of spiritous, fermented, malt or intoxicating

liquors within a prescribed zone of two miles surrounding the

land used for such camp site, or other military purposes con-

nected therewith, and repealing all laws inconsistent with such

prohibition, authorizing the appointment of not exceeding five

special policemen, and providing their compensation, for the

purpose of patroling said zone for the enforcement therein of

this Act and of the other laws of this State relating to crimes

or misdemeanors, particularly those in regard to disorderly

or bawdy houses; and providing funds for the carrying into

effect of the provisions of this Act.............................

No. 2. An Act to authorize the Conservation Commission of Mary-

land to lease to the United States of America any and all ves-

sels belonging to or constituting the Maryland State Fishery

Force.........................................................

No. 3. An Act to authorize the creation of a State Debt to an

aggregate amount not exceeding the sum of one million dollars

($1,000,000), and for the issue and sale of certificates of indebt-

edness evidencing the same, the proceeds thereof to be used for

the defense of the State in the present war, as more particularly

specified in this Act, and providing for the time, manner and

terms of such loan and the issue thereof ....................

State, County and City streets and roads of prisoners confined

in the Maryland Penitentiary, the Maryland House of Correction
