ration of the latter's term of office shall be placed to the credit
of the succeeding supervisor of that district.
206c. Every resident of Garrett county who shall habitually
use a wagon wearing tires of three inches in width for all
loads of one to two thousand pounds, and tires of four inches
in width for loads of over two thousand pounds, shall receive
a credit of five per cent, on his annual road tax.
206D. When a public road forms the dividing line between
election districts, the County Commissioners shall apportion
and designate what part of said road shall be worked by the
several supervisors.
206E. Upon the petition of fifty voters, who are taxpayers
of any election district in Garrett county, addressed to the
Board of County Commissioners, asking that an additional
levy be made upon the total taxable basis of the district so
petitioning, for the repair and improvement of the roads or
bridges in that district, it shall be the duty of the County
Commissioners to certify the fact in accordance with law, to
the Supervisors of Elections, who shall advertise the same
as in the case of the submission of other questions, and shall
at the next ensuing election provide for the submission of the
question to the voters of that particular district only, whether
or not the County Commissioners shall at their next annual
levy, levy upon the taxpayers of that particular district, an
extra amount to be named in the petition and indicated upon
the ballot, for the repair and improvement of the roads, or
bridges in the district so petitioning and voting. The Super-
visors of Election shall have printed on the official ballot of the
district to which the proposition of an extra levy is to be
submitted the words "For Proposition of Levy for Roads,"
and "Against Proposition of Levy for Roads."
206F. In case the vote in accordance with the preceding sec-
tion 206E, shall be "For Proposition of Levy for Roads," then
the Board of County Commissioners shall make the extra
levy for roads or bridges upon the total taxable basis of the
district so voting, and shall place the funds, when collected,
in the hands of the county treasurer to the credit of the road
supervisor of that district, to be worked out by him under the
direction of the road, engineer; but if the vote be "Against
Proposition of Levy for Roads," then the County Commis-
sioners shall not levy an extra amount for roads in that dis-
trict.
206G. At the respective district primaries of the two domi-
nant political parties of the State, held in each election dis-
