said taxable limits.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 513.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Burgess and Council of
Myersville, in Frederick county, Maryland, by repealing and
re-enacting with amendments sections three, five, six, seven,

nine, ten and eleven of chapter 94 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January session, 1904,
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Town of Myersville, in
Frederick County, Maryland," and to repeal sections twelve
and fifteen of said Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections three, five, six, seven, nine, ten and eleven
of chapter 94 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
session 1904, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Town of
Myersville, in Frederick County, Maryland," be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

3. The male citizens of Myersville at the age of twenty-one
years and upwards, who have resided in said town one year,
and who have paid a poll tax of one dollar, or who have labored
one day for the improvement of said town under the "direction
of the Burgess and Council within the year previous to an
election, and all male citizens of Myersville at the age of
twenty-one years and upwards, who are owners of real estate
in said town, and who have resided within said town for thirty
days previous to any election, shall, on the first day of May, A.
D. 1908, and every two years thereafter on the same day, elect
by ballot a Burgess and three Councilmen, all of whom shall
have resided in said town for twelve months next preceding the
election, and who are real estate owners in said town. The
Councilmen, together with the Burgess, shall constitute the
Council. The said Burgess shall receive the sum of three
dollars and the Councilmen the sum of one dollar per annum
as compensation for their respective services, to be paid annu-
ally out of the funds of said municipal corporation.
