pay therefor a license fee of forty dollars unto the treasurer
of said county for the use of said county, as is provided for in
section 1 of this Act, and shall renew said license at the
end of each year, accounting from the date of the first license,
and shall pay for each renewal the sum of forty dollars as
aforesaid, and the said Commissioners of Dorchester county
are hereby authorized and empowered to issue said license upon
payment of said license fee.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That any person or persons, or
body corporate, who shall fail to take out or procure said
license provided for in this Act shall be immediately liable in
any suit or action brought by the said Commissioners of
Dorchester county, to recover said license fee or fees before
any justice of the peace of this State, and the same rules of
procedure shall apply to said suits and the' collection of all
judgments recorded in said suits as are applicable in cases
arising on small debts, and in addition to said remedy the said
Commissioners of Dorchester county shall be permitted to
restrain by injunction the operation of any sawmill mentioned
in this Act, operated in Dorchester county, whose owner or
operator has not complied with the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 80.
AN ACT to repeal chapter 122 of the Acts of 1906, entitled
"An Act providing for the building of a high school building
and providing heating apparatus therefor in the town of
Hurlock, Dorchester county, Maryland, and to authorize
and to require the Board of County School Commissioners
of said county to borrow money for the purpose of build-
ing said high school building and providing heating appa-
ratus therefor by the sale of the present school building and
by the issuing of bonds, to be endorsed by the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester county, and authorizing the County
Commissioners to levy taxes on the assessable property of
said county to redeem said bonds, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of School Commissioners of Dorchester
county are hereby authorized and empowered to appoint a com-
mittee of five of the taxpayers of Hurlock election district of
