chapter 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Dorchester County," sub-title "Junk Dealers," to be known as
section 206A to follow immediately after section 206, so as to
read as follows: Before any non-resident, firm or corporation
shall engage in the business of buying or selling old iron, old
brass, or other kind of goods, commonly called "junk," in Dor-
chester county, shall first obtain from the clerk of the Circuit
Court of Dorchester county a license so to do for which they
shall pay an annual fee of $25.00, which said license fee shall be
for the benefit of the county. Every violation of this Act shall
be decided a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than
fifty dollars for each offense.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from May 1, 1908.

CHAPTER 633.

AN ACT to prevent and prohibit the sale of apple cider in
Election District No. 5, commonly called Lakes District, in
Dorchester county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons, or
body corporate, firm or company, to sell or otherwise dispose
of by way of barter, directly or indirectly, any cider made from
apple, pear, peach, or any other manufactured cider, in Elec-
tion District No. 5, commonly Lakes District, in Dorchester
county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or persons, or
body corporate, firm or company, who shall violate the above
section shall, upon conviction before any justice of the peace, or
Circuit Court of Dorchester county, be fined in the discretion of
the justice of the peace or the judge of the Circuit Court, .a sum
not exceeding fifty dollars, and in default of the payment of
said fine shall be committed to the county jail for a period not
exceeding thirty days.
