SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the foregoing agreement be and the same is hereby
fully authorized, legalized and confirmed in every and all re-
spects as fully as though express authority had been conferred
upon the parties thereto by the General Assembly of Maryland
at the time of the execution of the same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

ARTICLE IV.

CITY OF BALTIMORE.

CHAPTER 286.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 4 of
article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"City of Baltimore," as repealed and re-enacted by chapter
123 of the Acts of 1898, and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 4A of said article as the same was en-
acted by chapter 130 of the Acts of 1902; said sections as re-
enacted to form one section, to be designated as section 4 of
article 4 of said Code of Public Local Laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 4 of article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," as repealed and
re-enacted by chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, and section 4A of
said article as the same was enacted by chapter 130 of the Acts
of 1902, be repealed and re-enacted with amendments as one sec-
tion, to be designated as section 4 of article 4 of said Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, so as to read as follows:

4. All personal property situated or held in the territory an-
nexed to Baltimore city by the Act of 1888, chapter 98, shall be
subject to levy, taxation and assessment in the same manner
and form, and at the same rate of taxation as property of
similar character or description within the old limits of said
city may be subject. It shall be the duty of the Appeal Tax
Court of said city, as soon as possible after this section of this
