therefor on the recommendation of ten reputable taxpayers,
advertisement of same in newspapers, etc., as required in case
of an original application for such license, and if no objections
are interposed in the manner set forth in an original applica-
tion, then the said clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore
county shall endorse the transfer upon the license, and shall
be entitled to receive a fee of fifty cents therefor, and the same
shall then take effect; but if there should be an objection filed
to the transfer or assignment of said license, then the same pro-
ceedings shall be had before a judge of the Circuit Court for
Baltimore county as in case of objection to an original appli-
cation, and the costs of the same to be taxed in the same
manner.
SEC. 22. And be it enacted, That should any license after
the same has been granted, be destroyed by fire or otherwise,
the clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county, upon due
application made to him by the licensee, shall issue a dupli-
cate license to said licensee without further charge or cos
except fifty cents to said clerk.
SEC. 23. And be it enacted, That in case the licensee dies, his
widow, executor or administrator may carry on the business
under the license until its expiration.
SEC. 24. And be it enacted, That the steward or officer of
such club or corporation, at the time he files an application for
a license in substantial compliance with the provisions of sec-
tions 3 and 4 of this Act, regulating the application of an
individual for a license, shall include in the sworn applica-
tion for such license, a list of the bona fide members of the
club or corporation applying for a license, and no such license
shall be granted unless such club or corporation shall own or
regularly rent or lease a habitation or place of meeting in
Baltimore county.
SEC. 25. And be it enacted, That if any such club, associa-
tion or corporation, or officer or agent thereof shall sell, give,
barter or in any way furnish or dispense intoxicating liquor,
or any admixture thereof to any person, whether a member
thereof or not, without a license as herein provided, such officer
or agent shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and subject to the
penalty of selling without a license.
SEC. 26. And be it enacted, That if any person or any club,
association or corporation, or officer or agent thereof, without
first obtaining a license as provided in this Act, shall give,
barter, furnish or dispense any wine, ale, beer or intoxica-
ting liquor to any person, upon any grounds or premises in
Baltimore county, to which grounds or premises a price of
