SEC. 96. All matters relating to the organization, discipline
and government of the National Guard not otherwise pro-
vided for in this Act, or in the general regulations, shall be
decided by the custom and usage of the United States Army
and Navy, respectively. The provisions of this Act shall not
legislate out of office the officers now holding commissions.
SEC. 97. All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this Act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 98. No section or provision of this Act, or any part
thereof, shall be deemed to be repealed, altered or amended by
any statute passed by the Legislature, unless such statute ex-
plicitly refers to this Act as the militia law, or by its other
titles, as part of the general laws of the State, and explicitly
repeals, alters or amends the same or some part thereof.
' SEC. 99. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 507.
AN ACT to add two additional sections to Article 65, Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland (1904) as amended by
Chapter 103 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1908, to follow after Section 91 and to be known as Sec-
tions 9lA and 91B.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That two additional sections be added to Article 65, Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland (1904) as amended by
Chapter 103 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1908, to follow after Section 91 and to be known as Sections
9lA and 91B, and to read as follows:
9lA. The Governor and Commander-in-Chief shall have
the power and authority, upon the recommendation of the
Adjutant General, to establish a separate organization of the
National Guard to be known as the "Motor Corps, M. N. G., "
to consist of such number of officers and men and to be equipped
in such manner and perform such duties as may be prescribed
by the Commander-in-Chief at the time of the establishment of
said corps.
9lB. When established, as provided in the preceding sec-
tions, the said Motor Corps, M. N. G., shall be entitled to all
the rights and privileges conferred by this article, except that
said Motor Corps shall not share in any appropriations made
