PRIVATE ACTS. 1307
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State of
Maryland be and he is hereby authorized, empowered and di-
rected to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer of said State
in favor of James G. Cooksey & Bro., of Charles county, for
the sum of six dollars and twenty-nine cents, State taxes erro-
neously paid by them into the State Treasury for the years
1900, 1901, 1904 and 1905.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 493.
AN ACT to extend the privileges, enlarge the powers and
amend the charter of the Deposit and Savings Bank of Snow
Hill by adding a new section to chapter 260 of the Acts of
1906, entitled An Act to extend the privileges, enlarge the
powers, amend and ratify the charter of the Deposit and
Savings Bank of Snow Hill, said new section to follow imme-
diately after section 3 and to be known as section 3A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section, to be known as section 3A, be and is
hereby added to chapter 260 of the Acts of 1906, said section
to follow immediately after section 3 and to read as follows:
SEC. 3A. And be it enacted, That the stockholders of the said
Deposit and Savings Bank of Snow Hill, at any general or
special meeting, be and they are hereby authorized and em-
powered to increase the number of the board of directors of
the Deposit and Savings Bank of Snow Hill from nine to
eleven members.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 497.
AN ACT authorizing the Police Commissioners of Baltimore
city to pay to Mary E. Selvage, widow of Charles N. Sel-
vage, a former policeman of the Baltimore city police force,
a pension of $5.00 per week.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
