with the names of other retired teachers of this State, and
that a pension of $200.00 be paid quarterly to the said 'Alexan-
der Chaplain by the Treasurer of this State upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, as other teachers on said retired teachers'
list are paid.

CHAPTER 123.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the bequest to the most Rev. James
Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, and his suc-
cessors in the Archepiscopal See for Baltimore, according
to the discipline and government of the Roman Catholic
Church, as contained in the last will and testament of Annie
Vernon, deceased, dated May 15, 1907, probated in the Or-
phans' Court of Baltimore city, and of record in the office
of the Register of Wills of said city in "Wills" Liber B. E. S.
No. 101, 557.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared given and
granted to the bequest as contained in the last will and testa-
ment of Annie Vernon, Deceased, dated May 15, 1907, probated
in the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, and of record in the
office of the Register of Wills of said city in "Wills" Liber B.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 143.
AN ACT to refund to John M. Parr, bondsman of James J.
Reynolds, the sum of eight hundred and fifty-two dollars
and fifty-five cents, being the amount paid by said Parr to
the sheriff of Baltimore city when Reynolds forfeited his re-
cognizance.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That on the warrant of the Comptroller, the Treasurer
of the State be and is hereby directed to pay to John M. Parr,
the sum of eight hundred and fifty-two dollars and fifty-five
cents, being the amount paid to the sheriff of Baltimore city
