if there be one, and all papers and proceedings in such case,
including a copy of his judgment (in appeal cases) together
with the name and residence of the witnesses for the prosecu-
tion, to the clerk of said court, who shall place such case on
the appeal docket of said court, and issue subpoenas for the
witnesses named by the justice, and the case shall be then tried
in said court on the information or warrant. If the license
of any person doing business under this Act be revoked by
any justice of the peace the fact of such revocation shall be
forthwith certified by said justice under his hand and seal
to the clerk of the Circuit Court for Washington county, who
shall note upon the license record the fact that such revoca-
tion has taken place, and file the certificate setting forth the
same with the papers in his office relating to liquor license,
SEC. 325Q. And be it enacted, That the said clerk shall ac-
count for any pay into the State Treasury one-fourth of all
the monies received for the issuance of said license.
SEC. 325R. And be it enacted, That this Act does not repeal
in any manner chapter 427 of the Acts of the General Assembly
passed at its January session of 1894, as shown by the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, volume 2, article 56, sec-
tion 115, nor is it intended to permit the issuance of licenses
in any part of Washington county where the issuing of such
licenses are now or may hereafter be prohibited by law.

CHAPTER 663.
AN ACT to provide for the creation by popular vote of Anti-
Saloon Territory within Washington county, within which
territory, except as herein provided, the sale of intoxicating
liquor and the licensing of such sale shall be prohibited;
for the enforcement of such prohibition in such territory,
and for the abolition by like means of the territory so
created.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the words and phrases mentioned in this section
as used in this Act and in proceedings pursuant hereto shall,
unless the same be inconsistent with the context, be construed
as follows: "Anti-Saloon Territory" shall mean all territory
within the limits of Washington county, or any election dis-
trict, city, town, village or ward in said county in which,
through the action of the legal voters therein, as provided by
this Act, the sale of intoxicating liquor except as herein pro-
